Calendar for 2009 UPDATE

Hi Knitters....We are going to have ssssooooo much fun with the calendar this year. Some neat give-a-ways and some new packets from Peaches N Creme and nice opportunties for us to share some of our experiences with you.

One new feature is to show you patterns in different colors/effects for you to be creative with. Not just our household items but these can be applied to other areas of knitting as well.

We will have "Bonus Patterns" this year, a section dedicated to what you have said you like. If you haven't told us what you would like to see, share it with us.

Next update you will start seeing some photos of the patterns that will be included in the calendar. There will also be a "Kick Off" pattern to announce the calendar. It will be a free pattern to share with you. So be watching.......................

Knitting In Colors

Well this is just a note to tell everyone about another feature we are adding to the "Dishcloth Hangups For 2009".

We are providing more features and I announced last week one of them called "Knit It Or Knot" where we will be evaluating some yarns that we feel you would want to know about...performance, ease in knitting and construction of the yarn.

We also want to make available to you the sites of interest for Knitters and Crocheters. This would include sites on the Internet that have all the great free patterns. We often get requests for a particular pattern and adding this information will help you find what you are looking for and it will be in your calendar with your patterns so you have them together with all your other information. There are great aides for Knitters and tutorials on the Internet and we want you to utilize them.

Update On 2009 Knitting Calendar

May is almost over and before you know it...Christmas will be here.

We are adding new features to our calendar for 2009 and I will be announcing them within the next few weeks.

The first one is one that most of us would love to have. It has to do with new yarns being introduced but not a whole lot of information about the yarn's performance. We don't want to spend money purchasing yarn, only to find out that it isn't the kind of yarn we wanted to use or it didn't work out for a particular item.

We will update the new items being added to our calendar periodically to keep you up to date and we have "give-aways" too. So check back often.

Calendar for 2009

I know it is hard to believe BUT....it is almost Calendar Time again. We have some great new things we are adding to the calendar, some new offerings along with the calendar and some great little "give aways" when our calendar goes on sale. You will want to be a part of this there is much to come in the following weeks. I will be updating this blog with info as things progress and the designers of this year's calendar as well.

We will be providing items for the Kitchen and Bath along with a "bonus" section of misc items. We will have some unique items for gifts too.

2008 Dishcloth Calendar UPDATE

I wanted to send an update to everyone who is interested in purchasing but who hasn't had a chance yet or those who know others that might be interested to have a download of our 2008 calendar. I am going to bring down the PayLoadz site currently housing our calendar on November 19th. We have had some maintenance issues with them and most of the people interested have already bought their copy.

You will still be able to receive the calendar by the following methods:

$16.00 For Dowloadable Copy Via Yahoo Group - go to PayPal site and "send money" to jnogle@cox.net along with an email stating you have paid and you want to join the Yahoo group. We wanted to still have the calendar available for those that didn't want to pay the$22

$22.00 For Printed version of calendar - You can use the same process above and get an invitation to the Yahoo Group and receive a printed copy from Janet OR go to http://2008dishclothhangups.blogspot.com/ and Andi will send you a hard copy and set you up in the Yahoo Group. Andi has been a big help and it is just better with two people available to help everyone.

When will the Calendar no longer be available? We plan on having the Calendar available till December 14th, after that date you will only be able to receive the calendar via the Yahoo group ($16.00). We both need time off for our families for Christmas. Thank you for your support.

UPDATE - UPDATE 10-20-07

Just a quick note to let everyone know some good news.

Andi Worthy has taken pity on all of us and has come to the rescue volunteering to help out with anyone who wants a hard copy of the calendar. The cost for the printed version is $22 and if you have not heard from me and I have not confirmed I will send you one, go to PayPal (www.paypal.com) send $22 to thingsstitched@hotmail.com ask her to send you a calendar/s and where to ship them. If you need additional info or have a question either Andi or myself can answer it. If you are unsure of where you fall, just send me a quick note and ask me for status on your request and I will clear it up for you. If you want two calendars, it will cost $44, three calendars is $66, etc

For those of you who have asked for a printed version I will go ahead and honor but I can't take anymore hardcopy requests. We have had a family emergency and I am spending most of my day at a hospital. I hate to do that to you guys and if there was any other way I wouldn't have brought it up but I don't want someone waiting a month to get a calendar because of what is going on in my family right now. Andi Worthy (thingsstitched@hotmail.com) can help you with any issues if you can't get a response from me and for our friends outside the US, Alli Barrett (alliknitts@yahoo.com) can assist you. I apologize for the turn of events and again those I already commited to send one to and the raffle winners will receive their "hard" copy.

The designers have done such an awesome job and thanking them doesn't nearly say what is in my heart for these gals that continually give of themselves and have helped get this year's out to you so a million thanks to all of our contributors.
